Absolutely-Mandatory Parent and Player Meeting

B Team Rays – $500.00

A Rebels - $650.00

Razorbacks - $700.00

AA Runnin' Rebels -$750.00

This pays for their uniforms (except pants, socks and belt), hotels, transportation to/from all away games and tournaments. An exception to this is Pocatello Rays, travel will need to be provided by parents. Uniforms must be turned in at the end of the season, or your player will be assessed a $100.00 fee. Games start on May 30, 2017, all fees need to be paid in full by May 25, 2017 or you player will not be eligible to play until this has been taken care of.  If you are unable to pay in full you can see our Treasurer, Chris Adams or Alli Flores at the Mandatory Parent and Player Meeting on May 25, 2017 to make payment arrangements.  Player fees do not guarantee play time.  Any outstanding fees, from previous years for the same player or family member, need to be paid prior to the tryouts.  There are fundraising opportunities to help recoup some of this cost by selling advertising signs or season passes.  In

You can pay $35 to put a player concession credit that equals $50 so your player can charge items in the concessions stand.  Money after that is dollar for dollar.

Legion requires your family participation in full. It is a very demanding, time consuming labor of love for the ability of our kids to have an awesome well-run baseball organization. There are several committees that we will ask families to sign up for and we ask each family to sign up for at least one committee.

Each family will have a required number of shifts they will have to sign up for from running the scoreboard, announcing, grilling burgers, selling concessions, gate, etc.  We will take the total number of shifts from home games and divide it by all players so everyone has an equal amount of shifts. This usually ranges between 7-10 shifts per family which is not a lot based on the number of games we have. You can sign up for shifts for any of the teams so that you will work on days your player is not playing if you like. You will be able to sign up at and enter to search for our sign up lists.  This is not yet set up but we will send out an email when it is up and available.  Each family will also be required to do 2 shifts per home tournament as well.

For our main fundraising we will again be doing concessions for the Gray’s Games. This was a huge fundraiser for our program last year and we opted to do this instead of selling door to door, etc. with other fundraisers. Each family will be required to do a certain amount of Gray’s Games as well. This too will be equally divided amongst all players as we have final Gray’s schedules. This is a big project but was also really fun last season. Each game takes around 15 people to run concessions due to the volume of product we put out during these games. If there was a family that wanted to take charge of 1 Gray’s game and fill the shifts with family, friends, etc. it is a great way to get others involved in our efforts.

A $200 postdated check will be held to ensure that all families do their part on their shifts.  This check will be returned to you at the end of the season with your player’s birth certificate if you do all required shifts.

Birth Certificates

IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR PARENTS: if your child is selected to play for an American Legion team, we need ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATES. We cannot have copies. You need to bring them the night of the parents meeting (May 25) if you have it available. Please also bring health insurance information.

If you do not have your ORIGINAL birth certificate, please apply for it now. Players not having a birth certificate on file after June 10th will not be allowed to play until it is turned in. The June 10th deadline is firm!  We are sending this notice early to provide you plenty of time to send for it.
